...in a kind of continuing ed sort of way.
  • Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching(tm)
I went through the program but stopped just short of certification - I did it mostly for my own benefit, to coach myself through the creative process. I learned that while I make a pretty good coach, accountability is by far more effective if I am not the one I have to report to. That said, the process taught by Jill Badonsky is an invaluable tool and one that is helpful in all areas of life, not just its creative parts (though, truthfully, it's all creative, isn't it?).
  • SoulCollage(tm) Facilitation
I learned the nitty gritty for this process on the second ever group training in the beautiful setting of the Santa Cruz mountains. Seena Frost still looks today like she did then, and it was an incredible honour to witness the wisdom that she had to share with the world via this amazing tool.
  • Massage Therapist
I have an accumulation of three hundred some-odd hours of body work and related instruction from the School of Healing Arts in Pacific Beach, California, spanning everything from hot stone massage, cranio-sacral work, trigger point therapy, parasympathetic massage techniques and adjuncts covering things like shamanic counseling and soul retrieval to ayurvedic healing practices to aromatherapy. I practiced (in Orange County, California) for a little under a year as a licensed massage therapist in a women's day spa and at a large international hotel chain.
  • Reiki Master Teacher
Usui Reiki, levels 1 through 3 and Seichun Reiki Attunement, both received via Reiki Rays Institute.
  • Touch Drawing Facilitator
A self-revelatory drawing method made tangible by Deborah Koff-Chapin. At the time that I took the remote course, it was largely a self-guided program and I don't recall there being a certification process (but there may have been and I've simply forgotten).
  • Freeze Frame HeartMath System
A personal tool rather than one meant for teaching and sharing, it was the first time I'd ever been specifically taught to connect mind and heart in order to obtain a shift in consciousness. Invaluable to this day, both professionally and personally.
