Purchase policy.
I'm an artisan, not a retailer, with very limited inventory, and everything is made by hand.
I will therefore not be accepting any returns. I also wish for procurers of my work to be satisfied with their purchases. Please do let me know if something is amiss and I will do my best to be sure you are pleased with the outcome.
Items will almost invariably vary from the pictured product images due to their hand hewn natures, but all efforts will be made for them to be as close in likeness as possible.
If the product is damaged during shipping, a claim can be filed with the postal service to recoup its value. This is why I will not ship items without them being insured for damage or loss, and why I select delivery confirmation options and tracking when available. These add to the cost of the purchase but they are worth the peace of mind, all around.
From time to time a product may be found to be defective, in which case I will be happy to repair or replace it once the defective item is returned to me. I will issue a store credit to the customer for the return shipping costs incurred.
I'm new at this shopkeeper business, so these terms will likely morph as I go along.
While I must pay taxes on my sales, I am currently not obligated to charge you sales tax (and in some cases certain items may be exempt from certain portions of otherwise applicable taxes). Shipments to the US are tax exempt as well. For the time being (unless I become wildly successful and sell a bazillion items), no taxes will be calculated on your purchases.
